Enter details

Day 0 of the procedure. Defaults to today.

Simplified procedure does not include an observation period or reorganisation plan.

Opening of proceedings (Art. 70, Law 85/2014)

The court must schedule a hearing on the opening request within 60 days. If admitted, the opening order triggers all downstream deadlines. The date assumed here coincides with the hearing; actual opening may follow later.

Creditor claims (Art. 100, Law 85/2014)

Creditors must file their claims within 60 days of the opening order. The judicial administrator then verifies claims over a further 30-day window and publishes the preliminary table.

Reorganisation plan (Art. 132, Law 85/2014)

Available only in general procedure. Debtor or administrator may submit a reorganisation plan within 30 days of the final creditor table (extensible to 60 days by court order). Creditors vote within a further 30 days.

Simplified procedure

Applies to certain categories of debtors (Art. 38, Law 85/2014). There is no observation period and no reorganisation plan stage; the procedure moves directly to liquidation after the final creditor table.
